Ronen, the brother of hostage Alon Ohel, said at a youth rally in Hostages Square in Tel Aviv that "this week we mark 700 days since October 7. It's such an insane number that it's hard for me to grasp it's real." According to him, "Returning the hostages was the most important thing for our future as a society. Only when everyone returns in a comprehensive deal can we begin to walk the paths of rehabilitation. I am here to tell you, young people of the country: it's time we take responsibility for our future, that our voice be heard."
