Macron: 'Working to free hostages, but this must be accompanied by two-state solution'

French President Emmanuel Macron responded to the videos of hostages Rom Breslavski and Evyatar David, in which they appeared in poor physical condition, saying it shows "outrageous cruelty and endless inhumanity - this is what Hamas embodies." He added: "Our thoughts are with Evyatar David, Rom Breslavski and all the hostages still being held, as well as with their families. We continue to work tirelessly to achieve their unconditional release. But this will not be enough: this work must be accompanied by a political solution for the day after. This solution is one: two states, Israel and Palestine, living side by side in peace."
