Police arrested a Palestinian resident of Deir Samit, west of Hebron, on suspicion of dumping sewage into streams in the Judea and Samaria area. He documented the acts and posted them on social media. According to the suspicion, in recent weeks he posted footage showing himself pouring sewage waste into streams, and in posts he published, he boasted about his actions and claimed they were intended to harm Israeli residents and its territory. He was arrested at his home and transferred for interrogation at the Hetz Yehuda unit on suspicion of groundwater pollution. Police said the sewage truck he owned was confiscated and transferred to the Civil Administration.
