Opposition leader Yair Lapid addressed the Knesset plenum, questioning: "Is Israel behind two shell companies established in Switzerland and the United States - GHF and SRS - to organize and finance humanitarian aid in Gaza?" Lapid added: "Are Israeli taxpayers' money currently funding this aid? Is it possible that Israeli security services were sent by the Prime Minister and Finance Minister to transfer state funds abroad so they would return to Gaza as humanitarian aid?"
