Following reports of shooting in Al-Mughayir near Ramallah, an IDF spokesperson stated that an off-duty soldier fired several shots in the air after Palestinians disrupted order and attacked civilians in the Benjamin area. "Subsequently, the soldier also fired toward the suspects who continued to approach, and hits were identified. Upon IDF arrival, a violent disruption developed with Palestinians throwing stones at the force, which used riot dispersal means and also responded with gunfire. The incident is being investigated," the statement said.
