The Be'er Sheva District Court sentenced two Rahat residents and one West Bank resident to three and a half to five years in prison in a case exposed about a year ago by the Shin Bet, involving planned attacks in Israel - including a plot to assassinate National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir using an RPG. The prison sentences were handed down as part of a plea bargain with the prosecution, which modified the original charge from 'conspiracy to aid the enemy,' punishable by life imprisonment or death, to 'disclosure of intent to commit treason.'
