British police arrested 12 people who demonstrated in support of the pro-Palestinian organization Palestine Action, which has been outlawed and designated as a terrorist organization. They were arrested during a protest outside the Parliament building in London, while chanting: "Oppose genocide. Support Palestine Action." The law was passed in July after several members of the organization broke into a state air force base and vandalized aircraft, claiming that "the British government is complicit in Israel's war crimes in Gaza." In recent weeks, hundreds of the organization's supporters have been arrested.
