Yoav Shakaron, son of Netanel Shakaron who was murdered in the terror attack at Ma'ayan Ein Ria in Benjamin hours before Yom Kippur – and who survived thanks to his father – eulogized him at the Alei Zahav cemetery: "Dad, I want to say thank you for 16 years together. Thank you that in the attack, when the terrorist entered, you shouted to me. I don't remember what you said to me – and I ran. Thank you for giving me life, thank God I survived, and I want to tell the family that we will continue together and it will be okay. I want to ask for forgiveness from Dad for what I did, and maybe it hurt you."
