A pilot of Iranian descent at the American airline United Airlines will not be allowed to fly flights to Israel following information transferred about him from the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism to security officials and the Transportation Ministry. Senior officials at the Transportation Ministry confirmed to Ynet that following receipt of the information, flights on which the pilot serves as a crew member will not be allowed to arrive in Israel. According to posts on social media, the pilot, whose name in Chinese is Sina Amjadian, expressed support for the Iranian regime, the Revolutionary Guards and Hezbollah. It should be noted that he does not fly flights outside the United States, but his entry to Israel was banned in any case.
