Defense Minister Israel Katz addressed the elimination of Revolutionary Guards intelligence chief Majid Khademi after a situational assessment with Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir. Katz said, "The Revolutionary Guards shoot at civilians and we eliminate the heads of terrorists. Iran's leaders live in a state of persecution. We will continue and hunt them down one by one." He added: "We struck hard at the steel infrastructure and the petrochemical industry - and today and every day the continuation will come."
