EU condemns Israel's plan for Gaza control

|Updated:
The European Union called on Israel to "lift the siege on the Gaza Strip" and criticized the plan approved by the Security Cabinet on Sunday, which they say establishes aid distribution through private companies rather than aid organizations. In a statement, EU Foreign Minister Kaja Kallas, Middle East Commissioner Dubravka Šuica, and Crisis Management Commissioner Hadja Lahbib said that "Israel is obligated under international law to ensure international aid reaches the population in Gaza," and also called for an immediate ceasefire and release of the hostages.
