People who are lactose intolerant or keep kosher should stay away from Osem's chicken-flavored instant meal. Traces of milk powder were found in the company's noodle meal, that is meant to be parve (neither meat or milk).
Osem issued a public warning on Sunday and the company began recalling the product from sales points.
The warning said lab tests carried out following complaints showed concern that traces of milk powder may be found in the product.
As a precaution, the company asked consumers allergic or sensitive to milk or any of its components not to consume the product.
Osem announced that consumers who have already purchased the meal can return it to stores or contact the company's customer service division at: 1-700-70-76-76.
The examination was carried out after a consumer with milk sensitivities contacted the company and reported an allergic reaction after eating the meal.
Osem immediately sent the product for testing, and milk residue was found.
Most of the products have already been collected from the sales points.
