The AfiMilk company, owned by Kibbutz Afikim and the Fortissimo investment fund, has set up a goat milking parlor in Ontario, Canada, in which 600 goats can be milked per hour.
The facility will serve a farm comprised of 1,500 goats, which produces goat cheese for supermarkets in North America.
The new milking parlor has been installed with the AfiGoat management software, which is used to manage the herd and provide the sheep breeders with reports about the quantities of milk produced, including future estimates, animal health monitoring and herd movement.
