The Nobitex platform, Iran’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, was hacked and reportedly suffered losses estimated at $70 million. A hacker group affiliated with Israel claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that Nobitex aids the Iranian regime in funding terrorism and bypassing international sanctions.

Following the hack, Nobitex temporarily shut down its website and apps as its security team conducts a full investigation. Users currently cannot access their accounts or withdraw funds.
