I recently had the chance to experience the DJI Mini 3 Pro, the latest addition to the company’s drone lineup. It was an opportunity I was not going to pass up. After some research, I decided to take the plunge and purchased the Mini 3 Pro.
Once I received it, I knew I had made the right choice. Even though they are small, the Mini 3 Pro packs a punch. Boasting a larger camera sensor than most smartphones, it offers 4K at 60 frames per second, obstacle sensing, quick shots and master shots, and dual native ISO for improved HDR and low-light sensitivity. It’s also equipped with a 24mm equivalent fixed aperture lens and a two times digital zoom for 4K and four times for 1080p.
To take it for a spin, I enlisted the help of a friend who is an experienced drone pilot. We flew it in a forest, and the Mini 3 Pro handled itself like a champ. It was able to detect obstacles all around, and the active track feature worked great, allowing us to capture stunning aerial shots of the landscape. And, with the optional remote that has a built-in screen, it was much easier to fly the drone and get the shots we wanted. Get the DJI Mini 3 Pro on amazon

Not only is the Mini 3 Pro more maneuverable than the Mavic 3, but it also has features like Master Shots and True Vertical Video Mode to make capturing footage easier and more fun. Testing the Mini 3 Pro against the Mavic 3 showed that it was able to follow Nathaniel and avoid almost all of the trees.
