The plan calls for a 7,000-square-meter (75,000-square-foot) expansion across four floors to increase service and retail space, enlarge the main dining area, and build new operational zones. In addition, a new 2,000-square-meter (21,500-square-foot) structure dubbed “Tel Aviv Gate” will be constructed as a dedicated entrance for passengers arriving by bus. The new facility is expected to streamline security and baggage procedures, improve passenger flow, and boost the airport’s overall capacity.
Construction is expected to take about 30 months from the start date and will be carried out within the operating terminal in full coordination with the Israel Airports Authority to ensure uninterrupted service.
Gili Azaria, co-owner of Oron Holdings, said the company was proud to take part in a “national infrastructure project at the heart of Ben Gurion Airport, Israel’s gateway to the world.”
“The expansion of Terminal 3 will significantly enhance operational capacity and the passenger experience,” Azaria said. “We are approaching this project with great commitment and pride, as part of our ongoing work to strengthen Israel’s core infrastructure nationwide.”
