I recently had the opportunity to try out Apple’s 10th generation iPad. Having used their previous iterations of the tablet before, I was eager to see what changes they had made with this iteration. I was immediately impressed with its redesigned look, with the bezels being smaller and the display bigger. From a distance, it looks nearly identical to the much more expensive iPad Air.
The A14 chip is also an impressive upgrade, although personally I found that the A13 in the previous model was already more than sufficient for my needs. Battery life also seems to have been improved, as I was able to get a few extra hours of playtime after the official 10 hour estimate from Apple.
The camera system also gets a bump, with the rear camera now having 12 megapixels and 4K video recording capabilities. The front-facing camera is now located on the side of the iPad in landscape mode, which is a much-needed improvement.
The new Magic Keyboard Folio for this iteration is also a vast improvement over the previous Smart Keyboard Cover.
