Recently, I had the opportunity to explore the LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Courtyard set. This set was released in June 2022, and it includes 345 pieces, three minifigures, and costs around fifty dollars. When it arrived, I quickly noticed the two new Wizard Tiles that had been added to the set – Newt Scamander and Minerva McGonagall. It was a nice addition to the set and a great way to introduce more Harry Potter characters.
The building itself was a modular design, which was great since it allowed for a lot of flexibility on how I wanted to arrange it. There was a tall tower piece with a unicorn horn on top, a circular staircase that led up to a room, and the main courtyard build. One of my favorite sections of the set had to be the little area that was built for Buckbeak with a turkey leg, zoombly fur, and a bucket for water, which was a nice touch.
Along with the building pieces, the set also included three minifigures: Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Sirius Black. Each minifigure had unique printing and some even featured mud-stained clothing. Harry and Hermione had their usual wands, while Sirius had a unique expression on his face, indicating the gravity of the situation. Get the LEGO 76401 Hogwarts Courtyard on amazon
