Amazon U.S. has resumed direct shipping to Israel and restored free delivery on orders over $49, after halting shipments during the war. Not all items qualify for free shipping, as was also the case before the war. Estimated delivery times, however, are longer than usual — about a month instead of two weeks.
The suspension was due to a sharp drop in flights to Israel during the conflict with Iran. Most international retailers, however, continued shipping to Israel throughout the war.
iHerb maintained deliveries via a DHL initiative routing shipments through Cyprus. Next continued shipping with delays, as did other British retailers such as ASOS, Cult Beauty and Olive Young, a South Korean brand. Some Chinese platforms, including AliExpress, reduced promotions to curb Israeli orders. Temu and Shein largely continued shipping, albeit with delays. Meanwhile, eCargo began flying shipments from the East to Dubai, from where they were transported overland to Israel, effectively creating an alternative air corridor approved by the Tax Authority.
At the same time, a bottleneck has formed at Israel’s entry points in recent days. As flights increased, hundreds of thousands of previously ordered packages arrived over the past week. Following the ceasefire, Israelis resumed ordering at a higher pace, adding to the volume of parcels piling up in warehouses and straining delivery systems.
