Tesla has temporarily suspended sales of its Model S and Model X vehicles in Israel, according to manufacturer data. However, the company's more popular models, the Model 3 and Model Y, remain available for purchase.
Despite the halt, the Model S and Model X still appear on Tesla Israel’s website, though they cannot currently be ordered. This suggests a temporary suspension rather than a full withdrawal from the Israeli market.
Industry reports indicate that Tesla is preparing to launch upgraded versions of both models. Over the past two years, the company has updated its Model 3 and Model Y, and similar improvements are expected for the Model S and Model X.

Unlike the newer, mass-market models, the Model S and Model X are among Tesla’s older vehicles. The Model S, once the company’s flagship, was introduced in 2012 and went on sale in 2013, while the Model X debuted in 2015. In Israel, these models account for a small fraction of Tesla sales. In 2023, only seven Model S and 12 Model X vehicles were delivered, compared to thousands of Model 3 and Model Y units.
Tesla confirmed the sales pause, stating: “New orders for Model S and Model X have been temporarily suspended in Israel.”
