Major Israeli companies are joining an unprecedented campaign launched by tech firm One Technologies, pledging to offer jobs to any ultra-Orthodox man who enlists in the IDF.
The initiative, titled Businesses for Enlisting Haredim, began in December with One Technologies committing to hiring any Haredi man who completes military service. Now, leading companies including Fattal Holdings, HOT, Altshuler Shaham, Tidhar, Malam, Harel Insurance, Priority, Bituach Yashir, Enlight and Femi Premium have signed on.
Under the initiative, participating companies will adapt hiring processes and offer training and support to integrate Haredi IDF veterans into entry-level positions, such as customer service roles. The scope of hiring will depend on company size and operational needs.
The campaign is set to relaunch Tuesday with billboards reading, "We all commit to hiring every Haredi who joins the army," now featuring the logos of participating companies.

Since billboard placement is restricted in Haredi cities like Bnei Brak, the campaign will use mobile advertising — vans bearing the message will drive through Haredi neighborhoods. It will also appear in the Haredi newspaper Bechadrei Chareidim and in cities with large ultra-Orthodox populations such as Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh.
The campaign is tied to broader issues of military enlistment and economic integration. According to the Israel Democracy Institute, low Haredi workforce participation costs the Israeli economy an estimated NIS 3,500 ($930) per worker annually in added tax burdens.
The study projects that if Haredim entered the workforce in greater numbers, annual tax revenue could increase by up to NIS 44.6 billion ($11.8 billion) by 2048.
One Technologies said the project’s goal is to set “a new standard for corporate social responsibility in Israel,” and that hundreds of job listings will be posted on the campaign website.
One founder and CEO Adi Eyal said, “When we launched this initiative, we knew we were addressing a critical issue in Israeli society—shared responsibility. What we didn’t expect was how quickly Israel’s leading companies would join us. This is not just a slogan—it’s a responsibility. I call on more companies to take part.”
