Tesla offers interest-free payment plans in Israel amid slowing electric car sales

Automaker is offering zero-percent interest on most of its lineup in Israel for the first time; with payment plans on high-demand models like the Model 3 and Model Y, the move aims to revive flagging EV sales in a cooling market

Even Tesla—long seen as the electric golden child of the auto world—isn’t immune to the global EV slowdown. In a first for the Israeli market, Tesla is now offering zero-percent interest financing across most of its lineup, signaling a new strategy to keep the wheels turning.
While Tesla has previously tempted buyers with perks like one year of free Supercharging, this is the first time Israeli customers can finance a Tesla with no interest over monthly installments. Similar plans have been available in markets like Germany, but not France—where buyers still pay interest.
You won’t see any fanfare or flashy discounts on the sticker price. But dig into the Tesla Israel website, hit the "loan" tab, and you’ll spot it: 0% interest now available on the majority of models.
Take the entry-level Model 3, for example. It’s priced around $57,500, and if you go the standard route, you’re looking at a down payment of $13,000, followed by 72 monthly payments of about $715—with 4.75% interest. But if you opt for any other Model 3 variant, you get the same payment structure with zero interest.

Want range without the premium pain? The recently launched Model 3 Long Range RWD, capable of over 430 miles (per manufacturer estimates), goes for around $61,600. You’ll put down roughly $9,300, then make 72 payments of $730—again, interest-free. That actually makes it cheaper over time than the base model if you’re financing.
Step it up to the Model 3 Long Range AWD, retailing at around $66,900, and you’re looking at a down payment of just under $8,600, with monthly payments of $810—also with 0% APR.

And yes, Model Y fans aren’t left out. Tesla’s site confirms all trims of the Model Y in Israel now qualify for the same 0% interest offer. The RWD version, priced around $67,000, requires a down payment of $8,600, followed by 72 payments of $810.
Zero-interest deals aren't exactly a novelty in Israel—Toyota and SERES importers occasionally offer them—but seeing Tesla jump in with a full lineup financing push? That’s a big deal. For gearheads eyeing a new EV, now might be the best time to make the leap without paying extra over time.
