Rapper and music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs was taken to a hospital over the weekend after suffering a head injury while serving a federal prison sentence in New Jersey, TMZ reported Monday.
According to the report, an ambulance left the Federal Correctional Institution at Fort Dix at approximately 1 a.m. Saturday, transporting Combs for medical attention. Sources familiar with the incident told TMZ that the rapper was conscious and speaking when he returned to prison before sunrise.

The injury is not believed to be life-threatening, although the exact circumstances surrounding it remain unclear.
Combs was convicted in July 2025 on two counts of transporting people for prostitution and subsequently sentenced to 50 months in federal prison.
His incarceration has attracted renewed attention in recent weeks following reports about alleged preferential treatment inside the facility.
Last month, four men who had served time in the same prison unit told NBC News that Combs enjoyed unusual privileges, including having other inmates cook and clean for him.
One former inmate described the arrangements as privileges generally associated with wealthy prisoners, saying the treatment was far from normal, even by the standards of high-profile inmates.
The allegations have raised questions about the conditions of Combs' imprisonment, although the circumstances of his latest injury have not been established.
