Adam Levine, the guitarist of the pop rock band Maroon 5, is subject to a wave of accusations from several models claiming his inappropriate behavior and filtration, after on Tuesday he denied model Sumner Stroh's claims that she had an affair with him.
Adam Levine, the American pop-star with Jewish roots who performed in Tel Aviv for the first time this May, is married to Namibian model Behati Prinsloo, who is currently pregnant with their third child.
In denying Stroh's accusation, Levine wrote on his Instagram Story on Tuesday that he simply “crossed the line” and “used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than [his] wife.”
While he may have thought that he had shaken this scandal off, it was only just beginning. Since, two more models - Marika and Allison Rose - have spoken out with similar stories to that of Stroh, and shared screenshots of conversations.
Sumner Stroh claimed in a TikTok that she had a year-long affair with Levine and shared screenshots of apparent Instagram DMs from the musician, amongst them one reading “You are 50 times hotter in person. And so am I hahahah.” She also shared a message allegedly from the singer in which Levine appears to ask if she would be okay with him naming his and Prinsloo's unborn baby Sumner.
Addressing the rumors, Levine said that "on certain instances it became inappropriate; I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family.
"My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naïve and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together."
Renowned American model Emily Ratajkowski seemingly addressed the scandal surrounding Adam Levine.
“I don’t understand why we continue to blame women for men’s mistakes, especially when you’re talking about 20-something-year-old women dealing with men in positions of power who are twice their age,” the model said in a TikTok video Tuesday afternoon, failing to address Levine by name.
"The power dynamic is so skewed, it’s ridiculous. It’s predatory. It’s manipulative,” she added. “If you’re the one in a relationship, you are the one who’s obligated to be loyal.”
So far, Levine and his pregnant wife seem to be unfazed. The couple was photographed after they picked up their children from school in California.
