While some people mark their birthdays with a slice of cake and a candle at the neighborhood café, others use the occasion as an excuse for a picture-perfect vacation abroad. And when you are a wealthy Hollywood star, that option is considerably easier.
That is exactly what singer Demi Lovato did for her 34th birthday, packing her swimsuits, gathering a group of friends and heading to the Bahamas.

Lovato celebrated her birthday last week and this week shared photos from the getaway with her 147 million Instagram followers. The post featured plenty of bikini shots, along with some considerably cuter appearances by a dog and a pig.
She also shared a short TikTok video of herself lying on the sand with the caption, “Do not disturb except for making TikToks.” In the background, Lovato can be heard saying: “I don’t want anyone to call me, I don’t want anyone to text me, I don’t want to talk to anybody.”

One person noticeably absent from the vacation was Lovato’s husband, singer Jordan Lutes, who is currently on tour and was therefore unable to join the celebrations.
Instead, he dedicated an Instagram post to her featuring photos of the couple together.
Lovato responded: “I love you more than words could ever express, and I can’t wait to kiss you again. Thank you for being my rock, my safe place and my everything. I have never felt more loved in my life. I love you I love you I love you and I miss you more than anything!”
Lovato has spoken openly in the past about difficult periods in her life, including struggles with alcohol and drug addiction and an overdose that nearly killed her. She later entered recovery. She and Lutes met while working together, became a couple in 2022 and married last year.
