Israel's annual conference celebrating the "people of the country" is set to return next month, honoring past year's achievements of Israelis across all sectors and walks of life.
The conference is founded and organized by Ynet's sister outlet Yediot Ahronot, and an aim of honoring "the most successful Israelis" who made us feel something special this year and broke the norms, paving new paths.
Every year, Yedioth Ahronoth creates special meetings and connections between the people who stood out most throughout the year. Last year the guests were then-President Reuven Rivlin, and comedian Didi Harari who spoke about love and break ups; musician Shlomo Artzi and pop-artist Noa Korel discussed creativity and production amid COVID, and more.
So who should we expect this time around?
The guest list for this year's conference includes Israeli athletes who excelled at 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Israeli cultural and entertainment success stories, medical personnel who became unanimous heroes worldwide during pandemic, and of course those responsible for the major changes in the country - the president and prime minister.
Some of the topics on the conference's agenda are set to be: Social media in Israel and its major influencers, increasing violence in Israeli society, artists and their deep influence, politics, hi-tech, and economy.
The hosts of the conference will be Rotem Israel and Aviv Alush. Tune in on March 21st to watch a rundown of 2021's highlights, and observe as the people who led Israel through this year indulge in conversation with each other.
