For the first time in his career, Israeli singer Idan Amadi, who stars in the popular Israeli series Fauda, took the stage Tuesday at Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park.
More than 30,000 people attended the concert, which opened with a video in which Amadi expressed gratitude for what he called the miracle of surviving his severe injury during fighting in Gaza.

“In these 15 years, I dreamed of saying at least once, ‘Good evening, Yarkon Park,’” Amedi said.
He also continued his tradition of waving flags on stage in memory of Israel Defense Forces soldiers who have fallen in the war.
