Will he next perform a solo set wearing a keffiyeh? Harry Styles stirred up a storm online after responding to a pro-Palestinian callout during the opening night of his new tour in Amsterdam.
During Saturday’s concert at Johan Cruyff Arena, one fan shouted “Viva Palestina” (“Long live Palestine”) at the British singer as Styles adjusted his earpiece onstage. In a TikTok clip documenting the brief moment, which quickly went viral, Styles paused for a second before replying with just one word: “Correct.”

Styles’ response quickly became a major talking point on social media, with many praising the singer for what they viewed as a rare and direct public show of support for Palestinians. Others noted how unusual it is to see a pop star of his stature address political issues so openly during a live performance.
Although the comment was brief and relatively rare for the singer, fans were quick to point out that one of the tour’s charity partners is Choose Love, an organization that provides humanitarian aid to Palestinians, including medical treatment, food and other lifesaving assistance.

The buzz surrounding Styles’ response comes after the Eurovision 2026 final drew criticism over Israel’s participation in the contest amid the ongoing fighting in Gaza and the territories. Despite the backlash, and despite several countries boycotting the competition, Noam Betan managed to secure a second-place finish for Israel.
Styles is expected to continue touring throughout the rest of the year, with his next Amsterdam show scheduled for Wednesday. Many online are already wondering what fans might shout at him next time.
