Israeli pop star Eden Ben-Zaken has released her first English-language single, Queen of Roses, just days before beginning her U.S. concert tour in Miami and New York.
The new ballad, written and composed by Grammy-winning Swedish songwriter Jonas Myrin and produced by Yinon Yahel, draws its title from Ben-Zaken’s earlier Hebrew hit Malka Shel HaShoshanim (Queen of the Roses), though the artist’s team emphasized that the two are entirely different songs.

“I always love to renew and surprise,” Ben-Zaken said in a statement released through her management. “This time it’s my first song in English. I’m excited about the upcoming U.S. tour and can’t wait to meet the Jewish communities and the amazing people who live there.”
Ben-Zaken is scheduled to perform Thursday in Miami and on Nov. 2 in New York.
The release marks another milestone for the 30-year-old singer, who rose to fame a decade ago on Israel’s version of The X Factor and has since become one of the country’s most popular performers.
