Prince Harry was unable to meet his father and brother on a recent visit to the UK. The prince was in London to attend his trial, demanding that the British government bear the cost of his security while living in the United States. But the king was on a trip to Italy and the Prince of Wales and his wife Kate were too busy to make time to see him.
This was not the first time that Harry was home but did not meet Charles or William. Their relationship remains strained since he backed away from the family and his royal duties.

The king was aware of his youngest son's arrival, but according to People's Magazine, because of the involvement of his advisors in decisions regarding protection for his son, he chose to avoid any perceived interference.

Friends of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex told the magazine that Harry's family has been avoiding his calls and his efforts to reach out. Nothing has changed, they said, adding that relations remain distant.

They said Harry keeps writing and calling but to no avail. The estrangement is so great that the young prince learned of his father's latest hospitalization from media reports and despite his efforts, he was unable to meet his brother on his last three visits to the UK.
