Noam Bettan said Thursday that he sprained his ankle during a trip to Italy with friends, which he took shortly after finishing second in the Eurovision Song Contest.
The singer shared a photo on his Instagram account and wrote: “Yes, I managed to sprain my ankle on vacation.”

He did not explain how it happened, but reassured followers: “Don’t worry, I received treatment and everything is fine, thank God! Next week we’re back in full force for performances and preparations.”
Bettan, who represented Israel this month at Eurovision with the song “Michelle” and finished in second place, has announced several performances in Israel — all of which quickly sold out.
