Unlike her first rehearsal in front of a live audience on Wednesday, where she was warmly received, today’s final “family rehearsal” ahead of the semifinals saw numerous Palestinian flags waved in the crowd. Some audience members used whistles and booed during her performance.

Despite the disruption, Raphael also received vocal support and applause from parts of the audience, who responded with loud cheers at the end of her song. In response, Raphael formed a heart with her hands and told the crowd: “Thank you, Europe, I love you.”
