More than a month has passed since one of the biggest and most lavish weddings in the history of the American entertainment industry — and there is still no photo or footage of the happy couple, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. The two married July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City before more than 1,000 guests who kept what happened inside the arena almost entirely private.
There may still be no pictures of the bride and groom — and Swift presumably knows exactly when the timing will be right to release them — but this week Kelce spoke publicly about the big night for the first time.
The football star is not on his honeymoon but at training camp ahead of the coming season. On Wednesday, he told reporters: “The wedding was the best night of my life, and I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us.” He described it as a “crazy night” with plenty of celebrating, then made clear that his focus has shifted back to football.
Speaking about the choice of Madison Square Garden, the iconic New York arena, Kelce said he had always dreamed of attending a New York Knicks game there. When his wife performed at the venue, he said, he had been stuck at training camp and unable to go.
“It was cool to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the mecca of all sports venues, and to be able to get married there,” he said. “I thanked the owners of MSG for allowing us to get the opportunity to do that, knowing that we wanted a private event, and it was perfect.”
Very secretive

The wedding was not only packed with guests but also filled with celebrities. Among those reported to have attended were Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Bradley Cooper, Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, Tom Hanks, Reese Witherspoon, Steven Spielberg and Emma Stone, with Adam Sandler officiating the ceremony.
According to reports, guests were required to sign nondisclosure agreements before receiving details of the event, a rule that applied even to some of the couple’s closest friends and relatives. Only after confirming attendance were invitees sent a link to the agreement, which barred them from discussing any aspect of the celebrations.
