Growing up alongside a future global superstar could not have been easy for Jennifer Lopez’s sisters, but it appears to have done little to weaken their close bond. The fact that both are talented, accomplished and striking in their own right probably helped.
Lopez has two sisters, both of whom have pursued careers in the public eye. Her older sister, Leslie Ann, 58, is an opera singer and music teacher, while the youngest of the three, Lynda, 55, is a journalist, author and television presenter.
Over the weekend, Jennifer and Lynda spent time together in Paris, attending several major Fashion Week events side by side. Jennifer rarely has to work hard to command attention, and this appearance was no exception. She arrived in a plunging, multicolored sequined dress paired with a feathered, fur-trimmed coat (hopefully it was made from high-quality faux fur).
This time, however, Lynda was standing beside her and mounted a serious challenge for the cameras, as well as for the unofficial title of the sister wearing the deepest neckline. She put up a respectable fight, but the outcome was probably decided before the contest began.
Jennifer appeared to take the challenge seriously. The following day, she stepped out in another dress with an even more dramatic plunge, prompting the question of whether it was truly a neckline or simply an outfit that had never been fully fastened.
Lopez has previously spoken about her close relationship with her sisters, particularly Lynda, saying that when she moved to L.A., one of the things she missed most was the friendship with her sisters, especially Lynda, who was someone she could lean on.
Not a wardrobe malfunction

The three sisters grew up with their parents, Lupe and David, in a small apartment in New York’s Bronx borough, where they shared a bed. Jennifer previously described their mother as having grown up alongside her daughters.
Lopez said her mother married at 20 and had her first daughter at 21, meaning she effectively grew up alongside her children, and it was like living with a teenager. She added that her mother taught them to be independent, rely on themselves and carve out their own paths in life.
The Lopez sisters have also collaborated professionally over the years. They appeared together in the 2020 short film Draw With Me, while Lynda worked with Jennifer on the set of her 2019 film Hustlers. In 2023, she also accompanied her sister to a Met Gala after-party.
