Yuval Ben-Ami, an Israeli singer, released a Hebrew cover of a Hulu show's theme song. Entitled Fight Song, Ben-Ami sings about the courage and conviction to get things done in his own way.
The tune is taken from the streaming service's newly released miniseries Fleishman Is in Trouble.
The show, created by Taffy Brodesser-Akner, is based on her 2019 novel of the same name. It follows a 40-something-year-old divorcee immersed in the world of dating apps, meaningless hookups, and the pursuit of romantic successes he never achieved in his youth.
After his wife leaves the house suddenly, leaving him to raise their kids all by himself, he is forced to juggle between caring for his children and his demanding job as a doctor while determined to find love on dating apps in Manhattan.
He is played by Jewish actor Jesse Eisenberg, who portrayed Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in the 2010 film Social Network, and arch-villain Lex Luthor in the film Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016.
The show creator, Taffy Brodesser-Akner, is an American journalist and author. The Columbia Journalism Review called her "one of the nation's most successful freelance writers". She also won the New York Press Club Award.
