North American Jewish family acquires majority stake in Ironi Ness Ziona basketball club

The family, with a background in financial services and wealth management, will invest in the club to strengthen the local community

Ironi Ness Ziona Basketball Club announced Sunday that a Jewish family from North America has purchased a majority stake in the team. According to the club's statement, the nonprofit organization Ness Ziona Basketball Association will retain a minority ownership share.
Guy Goldberg, a representative of the purchasing family, will serve as the club's new chairman. Yaniv Mizrahi, the club's former chairman and head of the association, will continue in a volunteer capacity and has been appointed CEO of the club.

"We are proud to be part of Ironi Ness Ziona and the Ness Ziona community," said new chairman Guy Goldberg. "Our goal is simple: to help the team grow, make basketball more exciting for local fans, and bring people together through the sport we love so much. We want to support the dreams of the people in Ness Ziona who are so passionate about their team."
Club CEO Yaniv Mizrahi added: "This is a significant step forward that elevates our club. We are entering a new and better era. It's a major development both for the club and the community surrounding it. Together, we will build a stronger, more stable foundation.
