The PR campaign for the feature film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is expected to hit theaters in late July, began in Europe last week, along with a parade of appearances by the film’s stars, Zendaya and her husband, actor Tom Holland. The two met in 2017 on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming, became a couple in 2021 and recently confirmed their secret marriage. Now, as noted, they are also sharing the red carpet.
As part of a broader trend in recent years, in which a film’s motif extends onto the red carpet, Zendaya has emerged as Spider-Woman. At the London premiere, the 29-year-old actress arrived in a black dress by fashion house Rodarte featuring a spider studded with sparkling stones inside a spiderweb.

Working with her longtime stylist Law Roach, the two assembled a collection of dresses in a limited red-and-black color palette that helps Zendaya project a dramatic, powerful look. At the Madrid premiere, which opened the film’s promotional tour, she appeared in two dresses: a black fringe dress from Christian Cowan’s fall 2026 collection, which she later replaced with a red turtleneck dress by Spanish designer Ernesto Naranjo.
She presented the combination of black and red again two days later at the Amsterdam premiere. Zendaya chose pieces from Louis Vuitton’s resort 2027 collection, including a red miniskirt, a jacket with military elements and white Christian Louboutin shoes. She completed the look with Tiffany jewelry and her regular Rolex watch. For an evening event where she met fans, she chose a semi-sheer minidress by Alexander McQueen.
The film’s promotional tour is taking place alongside Zendaya and Holland’s official emergence as a married couple, after they previously avoided attending high-profile events together. Aside from joint photos, the two guard their privacy closely. It was Zendaya’s stylist who revealed their marriage in March, telling curious media outlets that the two had already wed.
"Our business can present very stressful situations and it’s really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time," Holland added in a recent interview with British Esquire. "We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it’s like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don’t understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else."
