Ronaldo is world's highest-paid athlete, Forbes reports

Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo of Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr stands alone at the top with earnings of $260 million over the past year; Golfer Jon Rahm follows in second, Lionel Messi is third, and LeBron James is fourth

Forbes has released its list of the top 100 highest-earning athletes over the past year, and, unsurprisingly, Cristiano Ronaldo leads the pack.
The Portuguese star’s contract with the Saudi club Al-Nassr is valued at around $200 million, with sponsorship deals adding an estimated $60 million annually. This brings his total earnings to an astounding $260 million in just one year.

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry ranks ninth with $102 million in earnings, and Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson rounds out the top 10 with $100.5 million.
