'Today is a new day': Rapper Ravid Plotnik sings with freed hostages

About a week after their return from captivity in Gaza, rapper Ravid Plotnik visited the rehabilitation ward for freed hostages at Rabin Medical Center over the weekend and performed his song New Day with them. Watch:

During the visit, Plotnik met with Guy Gilboa-Dalal, Evyatar David, Avinatan Or, Eitan Mor, Alon Ohel and their families. Together, they sang the song whose lyrics now carry deeper meaning: “Even when we didn’t have much, we had everything. Yesterday was yesterday, today is a new day.”

Last week, singer Hanan Ben Ari visited freed hostages Gali and Ziv Berman, Elkana Bohbot, Segev Kalfon, Maxim Herkin, Rom Braslavski, Yosef Chaim Ohana,and Bar Kupershtein at Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, where he also performed for them.
