For nearly 2 years, the piano had been waiting for Alon Ohel at Hostages' Square in Tel Aviv; he played 'Song Without a Name' by Yehudit Ravitz, which he said strengthened him in captivity

About a month after returning home after more than 700 days in captivity in Gaza, former hostage Alon Ohel arrived at Hostages' Square in Tel Aviv - and played "Song Without a Name" by Yehudit Ravitz, which he said strengthened him while in captivity, on the piano that was placed there for him. Upon his return from captivity on October 13, while still aboard the helicopter en route to the hospital, Ohel wrote the lyrics to “Song Without a Name” on a whiteboard—the last song he had played on the piano in his room before leaving for the party. The song was written and composed by Shalom Hanoch and originally performed by Rita. The lyrics read: “For my song is the breeze, my open window, the source of my strength, laughter and tears, the end of my suffering... I am home.”

Singer Rita responded: “There is nothing more joyful than your return and the return of all the hostages. A few weeks ago, when I learned that this song was with you throughout, I recorded a home version—just vocals and guitar—and sent it to your mother. I dedicate it to you and to everyone who has returned to us.”
Earlier, Shalom Hanoch also shared the photo of Ohel and quoted from the song: “The source of my strength, laughter and tears, the end of my suffering.”
