Celine Dion is preparing to return to the stage with a series of concerts in Paris, Variety confirmed, marking a major comeback after stepping back from touring due to a rare neurological illness.
The Canadian singer is expected to perform at the Paris La Défense Arena this fall, with shows scheduled throughout September and October, according to a report first published by the French-Canadian newspaper La Presse.

The concerts will mark Dion’s first extended run of live performances in years, following the cancellation of her “Courage World Tour,” which was originally set to include international dates, including a planned stop in Israel.
The news was teased in recent days through a promotional campaign across Paris, featuring posters with titles of Dion’s iconic songs, including “Pour que tu m’aimes encore” and “The Power of Love.”
Dion had previously been scheduled to perform in Paris in 2020 as part of her tour, but the shows were first postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and later delayed again because of her health condition.

In December 2022, Dion revealed she had been diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare neurological and autoimmune disorder that causes muscle stiffness and spasms, affecting her ability to walk and sing.
Her struggle with the illness was documented in the 2024 film “I Am: Celine Dion,” directed by Irene Taylor.
The singer made a rare return to the stage at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics, performing Edith Piaf’s “Hymne A L’Amour” at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.
She was also recently featured in a French documentary on channel M6 about her creative collaboration with singer, songwriter and producer Jean-Jacques Goldman.
Representatives for Dion did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
