Kevin Spacey to perform in Tel Aviv amid sexual assault scandals

Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey, long shadowed by sexual assault allegations but cleared in court, will bring his 'Songs & Stories' show to Tel Aviv in November, mixing jazz classics with personal tales from stage and screen

Kevin Spacey, once one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, will perform in Tel Aviv on Nov. 19 as part of his new international tour, Songs & Stories. The event will take place at Hangar 11, where the actor will be joined by a jazz band to perform well-known hits alongside personal stories from his career in film and theater.
Spacey, a two-time Academy Award winner for The Usual Suspects and American Beauty, also starred in Netflix’s groundbreaking political drama House of Cards. In recent years, however, he has been at the center of multiple allegations of sexual harassment and assault against men.

While he was acquitted of all criminal charges, the accusations — widely covered in the media and in the documentary Kevin Spacey Unmasked — have left him with a deep moral stain and effectively ended his career in Hollywood. Several civil lawsuits are still pending.
Since the accusations, Spacey has visited Israel on several occasions, joining a trend of “canceled” artists seeking stages abroad. He last came in December 2024, when he visited wounded soldiers, toured communities near Gaza, and held a workshop with acting students at the Nissan Nativ Acting Studio — a visit that stirred controversy due to the allegations against him.
This time, Spacey will take the stage with his own show, combining music and personal storytelling.
Tickets are priced between NIS 369 and 799 ($100-$215). Promoter Alon Yurik said, “We are very excited to host the renowned actor Kevin Spacey in Israel. He is a true friend of Israel, and his decision to come here at such a sensitive time for Israeli society is not something to be taken for granted. While many international artists and cultural figures have declined to visit, Spacey immediately agreed to embrace the Israeli audience.”
