Icelandic blues rock band KALEO will land in Israel for a single show June 22 at Amphi Park in Ra’anana as part of their latest world tour celebrating 10 years of music. Ticket prices will range from NIS 289 to NIS 449.
With over 8 million monthly listeners on Spotify and more than 530 million views on YouTube for their single “Way Down We Go”, the group has become a global phenomenon thanks to their captivating and electrifying live performances as well singer “JJ” Jökull Júlíusson’s thunderous vocals carrying their songs triumphantly.
They gained a local following through their self-titled debut album and were signed by Atlantic Records in 2015, following which they relocated to Texas and continued to build their reputation.
KALEO's rising fame was recognized that same year when Esquire Magazine named them as one of 40 bands to watch out for.
Their second album "A/B" was released in 2016 and seamlessly blends grungy blues and classic rock with folk blues. The album's three major hits have dominated radio stations, music charts, and platforms worldwide, including the single "No Good," which was recognized with a Grammy nomination for "Best Rock Performance."
