Travolta, 72, is best known for roles in films such as Pulp Fiction, Grease and Saturday Night Fever, and has previously appeared at Cannes with multiple projects, including the Palme d’Or-winning Pulp Fiction in 1994.
Beyond acting, Travolta is a licensed pilot with more than 9,000 flight hours and certifications to fly several commercial aircraft, including Boeing 707, 737 and 747 jets. His interest in aviation dates back to childhood, when he watched planes take off near his home in New York.
The film follows a young aviation enthusiast traveling cross-country with his mother on a journey to Hollywood, encountering a range of characters along the way. Newcomer Clark Shotwell stars alongside Kelly Eviston-Quinnett, with Ella Bleu Travolta and Olga Hoffmann also appearing in supporting roles.
Produced by Travolta’s JTP Films and Kids at Play, the film is scheduled for a global release on Apple TV+ on May 29, 2026, following its Cannes premiere.
