The second rehearsal lasted about 20 minutes, with Kan representatives in Vienna saying Bettan delivered “impressive vocal abilities with a precise, powerful and moving performance.”
Israeli delegation chief Sharon Deriks said before the rehearsal that the team had come to “fix the smallest details” in Bettan’s performance of Michelle, ahead of the semifinal, which will air on Kan on May 16.
After the rehearsal, Deriks praised Bettan’s professionalism, saying he repeatedly manages to take the Eurovision stage and deliver “precise, moving and impressive vocal performances at the highest level.”
