Following its success in major European cities like Berlin, Paris, London and Rome, the immersive light experience is making its way to Jerusalem on Hanukkah with the launch of “Winter Dreams II” at the Givat Ram Jerusalem Botanical Gardens.
Starting daily at 5:00 p.m., visitors will embark on a 1.5-kilometer illuminated journey through artistically lit pathways, vibrant vegetation and interactive light-and-sound installations. Produced by DEAG Deutsche Entertainment, Europe’s largest production company, this year’s edition promises a grander, more colorful spectacle than ever before.
The garden will glow with approximately 2 million LED lights, accompanied by a specially composed soundtrack. Highlights include over 30 light installations, 22 giant sculptures, a 17-meter light train, a towering Roman gate, and an interactive tunnel that responds to visitor movement.
The spectacle also features a laser show in the greenhouse, a “Thousand Meters of Light” display, and a magical forest filled with illuminated animal sculptures.

Visitors can also explore the UV-themed Kingdom of the Night, a festive disco zone, and an art market featuring local artists. Food lovers will enjoy a winter culinary fair with European-inspired dishes, and a special glowing menu by celebrity chef Moshik Roth, presented in a UV-lit dining area sponsored by MasterCard.
The Winter Dreams II festival is held at the initiative of the Botanical Garden in Givat Ram and with the support of the Jerusalem Municipality and the Jerusalem Foundation. It runs from December 14 through end of January 2026.
