Five pro-Palestinian protesters were arrested in London after disrupting the filming of Gal Gadot’s new movie The Runner, the Daily Mail reported Wednesday.
According to London police, demonstrators had been targeting various production sites across the city in recent weeks to protest the Israeli actress’s involvement in the project. Officers raided the central London set earlier in the day and identified several individuals involved in previous demonstrations. All five individuals remain in custody.

Five suspects were arrested—two on outstanding warrants from earlier protests and three for their actions that day. Police said the charges include harassment and violations of Section 241 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations Act, which prohibits obstructing access to a workplace.
Superintendent Neil Holyoak, who oversaw the operation, said: “While we absolutely acknowledge the importance of peaceful protest, we must intervene where it crosses the line into serious disruption or criminality.

“We have been in discussions with the production company to understand the impact of the protests on their work and any individuals involved. I hope today’s operation shows we will not tolerate the harassment of or unlawful interference with those trying to go about their legitimate professional work in London.”
The disturbances occurred during the filming of The Runner, in which Gadot plays a high-powered lawyer racing across the UK to save her kidnapped son. David Kosse of Rockwood Pictures produces the film. Production was temporarily halted over the weekend due to protests but resumed this week in central London.
Protesters, some wearing keffiyehs, were seen banging pots and using megaphones while holding signs that read “Trash Gadot not welcome in London” and “Stop starving Gaza.”
