Israel’s entry for the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest will incorporate quotes from the biblical Song of Songs, a move that blends ancient text with contemporary music.
The song, written by Keren Peles, was unanimously selected by a panel of judges. Peles, a well-known Israeli singer-songwriter, co-wrote last year’s entry Hurricane which represented Israel in the 2024 competition.
The selected song will be performed by Yuval Raphael, Israel’s chosen representative for this year’s Eurovision.
