Saturday’s weather will be partly cloudy, following the dispersal of morning fog along the coastal plain, in the lowlands and in the northern Negev.
Strong easterly winds will continue to blow in the northern mountains during the morning hours, and haze is possible in those areas. Temperatures will edge down slightly but will remain above average for this time of year.
Overnight, skies will remain partly cloudy, with a chance of mostly light local rain in northern Israel.
On Sunday, temperatures are expected to drop significantly and return to seasonal norms. Light local rain is possible in the north.
Monday will be partly to mostly cloudy, with a further slight decrease in temperatures, mainly in the north. Intermittent rain is forecast in northern Israel, accompanied by isolated thunderstorms. Local showers are expected in central Israel as well.
Overnight Monday, rainfall is expected to intensify and extend from the north to the Negev. There is a slight risk of flash floods in the Judean Desert and near the Dead Sea.
On Tuesday, temperatures will decline slightly again, mainly in the mountains and inland areas. Skies will remain partly to mostly cloudy, with local showers forecast from northern Israel to the Negev.
