Israel braces for unseasonably cool Shavuot holiday as light rain hits north | Weather forecast

Partly to mostly cloudy skies and cooler-than-usual temperatures are expected across Israel, with a chance of light local rain in the north and center as the cooling trend continues into Friday

The weather today (Thursday), the eve of the Shavuot holiday, will be partly to mostly cloudy, with another drop in temperatures, which will be lower than usual for the season.
Light local rain is expected in northern and central Israel, while strong winds will blow in the hills, along the coastal plain and in the lowlands. Overnight, drizzle to light local rain may still occur.

On the holiday itself, temperatures will rise slightly but remain below the seasonal average. On Saturday, the weather will be partly cloudy to clear, with additional warming. On Sunday, temperatures will continue to be slightly below normal for this time of year.
